Welcome to the bakery.

Benoit (pronounced ben-WAH) Bakery is a Houston-based artisan microbakery specializing in gluten-, dairy-, and egg-free baked goods made with organic ingredients, whenever possible.

Learning to bake without gluten and eggs is no small feat. This is because gluten-free baking relies heavily on eggs, and vegan baking relies heavily on gluten. When you remove both, things get sticky—literally.

Fortunately for me, I’ve never been one to back down from a challenge. Producing delicious bread and pastry that rival, if not surpass, their gluten- and animal-based counterparts has been one of the most rewarding culinary endeavors of my life.
